iE is owned and operated by brothers Daniel & Carlo Arguelles. Graduates of Arizona State University School of Architecture, they pioneered in providing design resources for developing countries starting with their own, Belize. As the business grew so did the need for an all-inclusive team that could design, develop and execute new ideas in development, planning, architecture and construction..
The firm’s accomplishments range from urban master planning for Inter-American Development Bank projects in Belize City, Placencia, and San Pedro, to renovations and construction projects for the Government of Belize, as well as designing and building of private full-scale commercial developments across the country.
Some of the works undertaken by the company include the design and construction of The Matalon Business Center which is the first green multi story building in Belize achieving standards encouraged by the US Green Building Council at a budget of $8.5BZ million dollars. iE was also contracted to design, supervise and construct the US Embassy Housing Master Plan Project, a gated housing compound for the US Embassy in the city of Belize. The contract included master planning, design and construction for a 14-acre development consisting of 18 residential homes including the ambassador’s residence. Also included was all civil works consisting of concrete streets, perimeter fence, pool, guard houses, generator room, equalization tanks, reserve water and all other works. Most recently, IE was contracted to provide architectural and engineering services along with construction management to build the Belcampo Distillery Facility.
We look forward to the opportunity to provide a team from International Environments Ltd. that will deliver the required services for the project.
